Until now the microcontroller that connected to a computer can only be accessed through a single IP, but most operating systems now can make more than one IP for each computer as virtual IP. This research will study the use of virtual IP from IP aliasing on a Linux operating system as an IP Virtual Server for the microcontrollers. The basic principle of IP Virtual Server is the creation of Virtual Host for each IP that processing data packets and translate them into the format of data packets which is match with the microcontroller. In addition to translating the data packets, the virtual host also translate IP addresses to the microcontroller address with 4-bit binary numbers format. The results show that the IP Virtual Server can perform the data transfer and translation of IP to the microcontroller correctly. |
