| Abstraksi Narasi | : | In this letter, Paul often speaks about joy. It is worth examining the fofty occurrences of the word in their immediate context. This ``joy`` concerns first of all Paul himself, but also his various correspondents, and finally the whole body of believers. Three main themes are discussed : joy and the Holy Spirit; joy and peace; joy in trials. Like faith, joy is at the same time something that is chosen and also given. This is the way the article propose to show how Paul speaks about the abundance of joy and how he invites the Christian to share that joy. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | Happiness is a central concern for human beings. Often however, Religious Education considers happines as an ambivalent reality and, until now, happiness is rarely taken as a topic for Religious Education. The article encourages a new approach to this question. In the first section, the author discusses various theories and notions about happiness. The second section discusses the idea that children can experience religion can make people-and especially children-happy? The last section tries to show how Religious Education could contribute to the happiness of children and adolescents. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | A brief study of the vocabulary about joy and pleasure shows that profound changes have taken place. The emphasis has shifted from the ``soul`` to the ``body``. At the same time, recent psychoanalytical studies discover anew the ethical dimension of Joy. There is a certain quality of pleasure which springs from the exchange between partners who discover their selfhood in the relationship itself. The Gospels are in line with modern anthropology on this point. They underline the quality of relationship which Christ establishes in all his encounters with various people, restoring them to life in its fulness. By taking upon himself the violence of his surroundings, even unto death, Jesus Christ reveals the true face of God. The Beautitudes are the final revelation of a joy which the world cannot take away. |
