| Abstraksi Narasi | : | Every age, every culture, every church situation has its lot of positive elements but also of constraints concerning the catechetical task. The feeling of getting nowhere, felt today in the West, comes from the break down of the traditional channels of catechesis. One has to explore new paradigms and what is proposed is a catechesis which makes one attentive to the spiritual experience at all ages of life in the perspective of growth. This implies drawing from the contents of other traditions and using other forms of expression. It also implies that training itself be envisaged and exercised as a spiritual experience. The author does this unde the form of four dreams: a nightmare as Qohelet woulod write, a vision in the line of Jeremiah, a controversy inspired from the gospel narratives, and a letter in the manner of Paul. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | The article reviews and discusses some Pauline expressions which include the reciprocal pronoun: one another. two basic images of the church come out. The Church is the ``body of Christ``, for the Christians have become , thanks to the many exchanges and services which they offer one another. The church is also the place where the Christians encourage one another and ``the house of mutual relationships`` of which they are the living stones. They uild one another up and work for their own growth in their differences. Mutual love, inspired by the Spirit of God, replaces henceforth the ancient liturgy of the Temple, made up of rites and sacrifices. This dream about the church can rejuvenate the christian comunities today by inspiring them towards more participation and co-responsibility. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | Religious education in Poland today has to be understood in the light of te larger ecclesial and socio-political context. The postcommunist era has created a new siuation which entails a new reflection on the role and place of the Church. In the catechetical field, the school has taken over from the parish. Three questions are raised: - what is the place of catechesis in school? - what do youth expect from religious education? - What type of collaboration can be proposed to parents? Reflections have to be made on new ways of speaking about God, on the role of the catechists, and on the quality of our pastoral relationships. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | Reality changes faster than our ideas about it. Our realisations get outdates faster than before. Yet we acknowledge that any reflection is always open to the future. Yet we acknowledge that any reflection is always open to the future. The article draws a few concerning the future of catechesis in Latin America: - We can imagine that, in the coming years, catechesis in Latin America will continue to have an important social content, with denunciation of injustice and search for common ways towards a more human life. - We can imagine a great variety i the different expressions of faith, in the catechumenal and educational processes, and in the liturgy. - We can imagine a caechesis which educates towards faith, which helps people, as persons and as communities, to grow in humanity. - We can imagine a catechesis more grounded in revelation. - We can imagine a catechesis open to the ecological dimension, taking into account the historical situation of the catechists, intimately linked to the more or less necessary conditions of life development on earth. -We can imagine for the future, local churches made up of communities and consequently a catechesis which contributes to the growth of these communities and which gets nourishment from them. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | Before making a few suggestions, the author makes a plea for the very existence of adult catechesis, as distinguished from training of pastoral workers or from theological formation. There conditions are underlined: make adult catechesis readily available, geographically speaking; generate local interest and build on that; prepare leaders and documents. a few directions are envisaged for the future (on the basis of what is being done in france today): -That adult catechesis be necessarily very much diversified along various types of realisation; - That adult catechesis be not only a place of reflection but a place where Christian faith is experienced; - With reference to the content of the Hebrew Bible, adult catechesis is invited to take into account the Law and the Prophets without neglecting the Wisdom tradition. All there types of writings are important for the building of the believer`s identity; - finally that greater attention be given to the different stages and events of life, which could greatly enrich adult catechesis. To conclude the author underlines the fact tha it is an essential element of any catechetiical process not to start from a dogmatic content only but to take into account what the adults feel and experence. Any formation is transformation. A minimum of coherence is to be expected between the participation into a group of adult catechesis and the actual functioning of the Church. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | The author distinguishes four essential features of secular western culture. It is a culture of the individual, a democratic culture a scientific and technical culture, a communication culture. In such a cultural context, catechesis must show and enable one to feel how much christian life is a path toward personal fulfilment, a way to love oneself. In itsvery functioning, catechesis should be for all a shared experience which, in the name of the Gospel, should spread and affect the whole life in society. Giving its due place to intellectual requirements, catechesis enables the catechized to establlish dyamic links between scientific knowledge and the deepening of faith. Finally, catechesis should try to interpret the experience of human communication in the light of faith in God, who Himself is self-commmunication, and who enables us to enter into communication. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | Adolescents and young people born in a world of sounds and images. Our western societies overfeed them, often to the point of preventing them savour a moment of quiet or to appreciate the value of silence. How to initiate youth to perceive the benefits of silence? The question if often asked by educators and teachers of religion. The article offers a few methodological orientations and some practical tools experimented in the classroom. The second part of the article presents pedagogical attitudes which help to create a climate of silence and favour reflection and communication. |
