| Abstraksi Narasi | : | Chiliasm derives from the Greek chilioi (thousand). It refers to a thousand year reign of salvation on earth. In a variety of ways, says Gerhard Winkler, chiliasm has always fascinated people. In Judaism chiliasm was a misunderstanding of the Old Testament messianic expectation. It was also present in the writing and thinking of Tertulian, Augustine, Joachim of Fiore, et al. and may be reflected in a number of contemporary movements. |

Because of its length (over 1000 individual entries) the biblioraphy was printed in two parts. Part 1, 1939-73 appeared in Theology Digest 36:4 (Winter, 1989) 321-46. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | The French minority bishops at Vatican I illstrate the complexity of the definition of papal infalibility. The breadth of the church, says Margaret O`Gara, extends backward and forward and through time, and outward to include even those whom we call ``minoroties.`` |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | Mysticism is not a detached phenomenon, a ``supra-religion.`` Rather, says Josef Weismayer, it is concretely bound to religious life and conduct. Christian mysticism relies on scripture, mediation and prayer. It is indelibly marked by Christ, the Word made flesh, and should not be sought for its own sake, but in service to others. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | There are two keys needed to unlock Meister Eckhart`s spiritual message: 1) God`s omnipresence; 2) the Logos` birth within the soul. An understanding of these two ideas, says Cornelius Williams, will show that Eckhart`s posthumous condemnation was unjustified and unfounded. |

| Abstraksi Narasi | : | All creation exists for human beings to regulate and shape according to human needs. When human life is threatened certain species of plants and animals can be destroyed. However, human beings also have a responsibility to care for and protect the non-human environment. The decision on when to intrude and when to protect must be made on a case by case basis. |
