Nomor Halaman : 321-331
Abstraksi Narasi : We can all, says Ralph McInerny, talk about what it means to be a good teacher, barber or lawyer, but effectively talking about being a good person is another matter. Being good means more than performing certain functions well. It means putting our heart in our theory; seeing people not as means to ends but as ends in themselves. As St. Thomas says, the good man concretely recognizes the demands of the good (connaturality). Moral philosophy cannot guarantee our acts as they should be -only a correct desire for that which is directed toward the true good of others can do that.

Abstraksi Narasi : The great problem of contemporary christology is to find ways to translate Christian understanding of Jesus as God and man in terms both meaningful to modern thought and faithful to tradition. Gonzalez Faus here shows how cultural factors in the developed world make belief in Jesus` divinity difficult and how important faith in Jesus` divinity is for understanding our world.
