| Abstrak | : | The life cycle of the system, which its technology develops fast, tends to be short. This research studies replecement policy based on opportunity for short life cycle system. the opportunity comes randomly and it is modeled as a homogeneous Poisson process with parameter 2 System failure during and after warranty period is restored by minimal repair. The system is preventively replaced (1) at $ if opportunity occurs in t≤ Sor (2) at I if opportunity occurs int > S. During the time between the occurrence of opportunity and the time instan of replacement, the user may incur panalty cost due to the delay of replacement Decision variable for this policy is S. which describes a minimal operating time of existing system. Optimal value of S (S) is attained by minimizing expected cost per replacement period. The conditions of S", which is finite and unique are given. Finally some numerical results are also presented to illustrating optimal condition |

| Abstrak | : | One of the important aspects in computer security deals with authentication that concern with how computer knows everyone is really he. The authentication method commonly used is static password. This model is now become insecure because someone could steal the password and use it to do ilegal actions. One solution proposed is the One Time Password system. One Time Password authentication system was made to handle such attack called replay attack. This system produces different passwords that can be used by user to get access to the application system. This paper is focused on how OTP system works and how it's implemented in the login process to an application program. |

| Abstrak | : | In order to obtain more advantage from solar energy and to keep clean the environmental, unused TL tube can be used as glass cover of tubular collector. The design of collector consists of absorber pipe, covered by glass tube with a reflector film on its inner surface and arranged in series without tracking. An experimental study was carried-out to investigate the effect of varieties the absorber position along the vertical eccentricity of cover, and the inlet fluid temperature to collector instantaneous efficiency. The results show that the highest temperature is obtained by positioning the absorber pipe axis below the annulus centerline (negative eccentricity) of glass cover. Increasing inlet fluid temperature or the number of absorber pipes in series, it would give the higher outlet fluid temperature, but the collector overall efficiency would decrease. |

This research is done to reduce Fe with slow sand filter. The methood can reduce Fe from 1.170 ppm (above drinking water standard) to 0.127 ppm (below drinking water standard) using sand layer diameter 0.297 mm and sand thicness 90 cm. |

| Abstrak | : | Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is means that can be trained to recognize pattern and behavior of a system through learning process. ANN will learn the past data of system, until it has ability to make a decision of data that has not been learned before. Through recognition of past pattern, then ANN can be used to predict the future. This journal presents one of the implementation of ANN in the field of Economics, that is, bank bankruptcy prediction in Indonesia. The learning algorithm that is used in the ANN model is Backpropagation with momentum. The inputs for the ANN model are five financial ratios and a dummy variable that are considered as bank bankruptcy indicators in Indonesia, that is, BMPK. RORA, PBAP, ROA, FBS, and KRLC. The data that is used are one and two years prior bank bankruptcy, the purpose of this is to see how well the ANN model can predict bankruptcy uses data of one and two years prior bankruptcy. The results of the ANN model testing with different net's parameters and different fiscal years, showed that the ANN model could predict bank bankruptcy in Indonesia used data of one year prior bankruptcy, but the ANN model could not predict well used data of two years prior bankruptcy. |

| Abstrak | : | We introduce a new and natural algebraic proof system, whose complexity measure is essentially the algebraic circuit size of Nullstellensatz certificates. This enables us to exhibit close connections between effective Nullstellensatzë, proof complexity, and (algebraic) circuit complexity. In particular, we show that any super-polynomial lower bound on any Boolean tautology in our proof system implies that the permanent does not have polynomial-size algebraic circuits (VNP ≠ VP). We also show that super-polynomial lower bounds on the number of lines in Polynomial Calculus proofs imply the Permanent versus Determinant Conjecture. Note that there was no proof system prior to ours for which lower bounds on an arbitrary tautology implied any complexity class lower bound. Our proof system helps clarify the relationships between previous algebraic proof systems. In doing so, we highlight the importance of polynomial identity testing (PIT) in proof complexity. In particular, we use PIT to illuminate AC0[p]-Frege lower bounds, which have been open for nearly 30 years, with no satisfactory explanation as to their apparent difficulty. Finally, we explain the obstacles that must be overcome in any attempt to extend techniques from algebraic circuit complexity to prove lower bounds in proof complexity. Using the algebraic structure of our proof system, we propose a novel route to such lower bounds. Although such lower bounds remain elusive, this proposal should be contrasted with the difficulty of extending AC0[p] circuit lower bounds to AC0[p]-Frege lower bounds. |

| Abstrak | : | Nowadays, industrial robots are commonly used in industries to minimize the production time, the amount of labor required, and also to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the production system. Thus, the productivity and the factory profits can be increased. This research which contains robots work mechanism and method to control them using the most basic programming language. By converting LL. Win program into Visual Basic, the industrial robots can be programmed using the modest programming language. It is more like replacing the brain of the robot with another brain, but it still can do its function properly. Beside that, using Visual Basic, the program is also modified, so it can perform two different movements in one time. Thus, the system will require less time to perform the task. |
