Abstrak : Planning and control raw material in company is purpose to depress the expense, so that in the end will improve the company profitability. PD. TaruMartani is company which is active in production of non migas of cheroot and tobacco shag. Problems faced by PD. TaruMartani how to determine the optimal amount and time of ordering of raw material of tobacco of Kentucky Van Nelle product so that can minimize the raw material inventory expense Way of decision determination to be taken fixed use the company wisdom or by using method which deal with raw material inventory in the plan and operation in company so that planning and control of raw material inventory of tobacco of Kentucky of product of Van Nelle expected can be reached better and efficient Method used in research with the approach model the JIT/EOQ To determine of requirement of the raw material, used forecasting for one year, where the requirement per year 71.414 unit during 12 period (month). Pursuant to research amount of ordering of raw material of tobacco of Kentucky Van Nelle product shall be ax follows to sam up the ordering with the model JIT/EOQ equal to 5512 unit with the total coxt of supply Rp 30 Billion and number delivery 5. But in model JIT/EOQ there are optimal ordering amount that is pursuant to supply capacities 1000 equal to 6038 unit with the total cost supply equal to Rp 28 Billion

Abstrak : The hold-up of a part of hydrodynamic is of fundamental importance in the design of agitated liquid-liquid extraction column. The design of agitated liquid-liquid extraction columns requires determination of a suitable interfacial area required to achieve a specified degree of mass transfer. The selecting of hold-up correlations with some variables affecting are key component to achieve a specified degree of mass transfer. The correlations of hold-up in RDC are divided into three of equations Le the characteristic velocity, drag relationships and explicit correlations. An explanation for this is presented.

Abstrak : A warranty is a contractual agreement between a manufacturer and the consumer, which requires the manufacturer/dealer to rectify all item failures that occur within the warranty period. Warranty can be sold for second hand product with a new contractual agreement. A warranty can be viewed as an alternative of after sales service that plays an important role in product sales. To obtain a second hand product warranty, the consumer must pay an additional cost. This paper studies the warranty policy for a second-hand product sold with two-dimensional warranty. We propose and study a model of second-hand product warranty policies with 3 different alternatives policies based on the coverage region of the warranty. System failure is modeled using the one-dimensional point process formulation where the usage is modeled as a function of time. Parameter estimation for the failure model was done using claim and follow-up data and this results in a more representative reliability model compared. The policy proposed and the corresponding cost models of second-hand product warranty applied for copier. We used claim and follow-up data for copier old in Yogyakarta region from 2005 to 2006 The results of the warranty cost estimation for each alternative are given in this paper

Abstrak : In order to function well, a robot is equipped with various sensors to acquire information about its surroundings, one of which is visual sensor using digital camera. Since it will be used for the basis in determining the action to be performed, the information has to be available promptly or in a real time manner. The objective of this research was to develop software for real time image processing using computer employing web cam for image acquisition. The operations that could be performed by the software is brightness modification, negative, color element extraction, conversion from color image to grayscale, thresholding, smoothing, sharpening, edge detection, and histogram calculation. The result of the test using computer with 1.4 GHz Pentium IV Centrino processor showed that processing time per frame of the images gathered from web cam depended on the type of the operahon, especially on the complexity of the calculation as well as the number of pixels used to determine the value of the resulted pixel. In this research, it was found that the processing speeds of those operations were ranged from 5 ms for operations involving single pixel up to 12.3 ms for operation involving 169 neighboring pixels The actual image acquisition rates from web cum were between 8 fps for neighboring operations up to 30 fps for pount operations.

Abstrak : Macro-ergonomics is a top-down socio technical systems approach to the design of work systems and the application of the overall work system design to the design of human-job. human-machine and human software interfaces. Macro-ergonomics provide certain guiding principles to aid system harmonization. Frequently, in implementation process in industries, macro-ergonomics approach is integrated with mucro-ergonomics programs. There are some models of integration of them. The problem is which model is suitable for a certain industry. This paper introduces the macro-ergonomics and micro-ergonomics integrated models that can be implemented to industry, both service and manufacture industry. Based on literature review about macro ergonomics implementation, it can be introduced 3 (three) models. Model 1 model begins by making micro ergonomics improvements and then macro-ergonomics approach after that Model 2 macro- ergonomics and micro-ergonomics are simultaneously in a program. Abstrak : This research applied Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) for solving the permutation flowshop scheduling to minimize the makespan. One of the parameters in ACO Algorithm is persistence of trail (p). This research used difference p to find the makespan closest to the optimen and to know the influence of pto the makespan This research proposed the modified ACO based on ACO algorithm proposed by Rajendran and Ziegler (2004). Initial sequence is generated from Campbell, Dudek and Smith (CDS) heuristic algorithm. The proposed ant-colony algorithm was applied to problems taken from Taillard (1993), ie problem with 20 jobs and 5 machines (problem 1), 50 jobs und 10 machines (problem 2), and 100 jobs and 10 machines (problem 3) Based on the three problems, the makespan closest to the optimion is found at p 0.6. However from the statistical test susing ANOVA, p did not significantly affect the makespon The optimum makespan is got from LP solution by Yasin, et al (2005)

Abstrak : Mamial identification of fruits is not efficient for large amount of fruits. The advancement of information technology has made possible fruit identification be done by a computer. This paper discusses a fruit identification methodology based on shape and color. In order to reduce the effect of lighting variability a color normalization is carried out prior to feature extraction. The color feature used in this research are mean and standard deviation. The shape features are area, perimeter and compactness. The identification of an unknown fruit is carried out using the nearest mean classifier. The method developed in this research is tested using 12 classes of fruits where each class is represented by a number of samples. The experimental results show that the method proposed in this research gives accuracy of 93.83% for two samples per class and 100% for three samples per class

Abstrak : Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is using to turn down the process in a router in transfer a services of packet data The basic technology of MPLS is using the switching mode as known as Label Switching Router (LSR) by exhausted a label in each entering data set, and it's using to determine the data set direction should be transfer. The MPLS technology has a purpose utilizing to involve the IP technology which has a connectionless system in an IP technology with an oriented connection system with by switching technology as Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) technology. By the fact of capability of the MPLS is a very effective way to fuse the IP technology and the ATM technology into a backbone network In this short paper report a measuring simulation of Quality of Services (QoS) to analyze how the MPLS service method is working in transfer a service of data packet of traffic. The measuring is done to three main parameter of the QoS in a network, those are Bandwidth, Service Rate, and Time Delay of the sending a data packet Based on the Measuring Simulation of the QoS in the MPLS network, founded the fact that the set transfer time delay in the MPLS network is relatively low, that are 337.921 miliseconds, so that the MPLS network is able to use in the real time transfer a packet data of service
