(bukan) Batik Papua
Pengarang: Vembrianto, Albertus,Fauzanaf, M. Zamzam
Fenomena ‘Batik Papua’ menunjukkan ekspresi paling tampak dari bagaimana pakaian berkelindan dengan projek pembentukan diri (project of the self) (Jeacle 2012, 87).

(De)Morphologization in Latin
Pengarang: Jurgen Klausenburger, B. Franolic, Anita Mittwoch, Cooper, William E., Douglas Shaffer, Charles M. Barrack, Henk Haverkate, Edmund Gussmann, R.A. Hudson, Robert D. Gunn, Chauncey C. Chu, Greenbaum, Sidney, Bertil Sundby, Adrianne Lang, Bernard Comrie, T.D. Griffen
Abstrak: This paper elaborates a theory of morphologization, illustrated by Latin rhotacism, and introduces the concept of demorphologization, seen in Latin nasal infixation. It is demonstrated that both rules became re-analyzed as inversions by the time of Classical Latin, principally due to their opaque nature. The latter led to morphologization of rhotacism, an originally phonologically conditioned rule, and to demorphologization of nasal infixation, a morphological rule from its beginning. The essence of demorphologization is the loss of morphemic value, which occured as soon as the nasal infix was generalized beyond the imperfective verb system.
Two other morphological rules of Latin, vowel lengthening and reduplication in the perfect, are also examined by means of this new concept.
(Dis)connected : An examination of interoception in individuals with suicidality
Pengarang: -
Abstrak: Sensing one’s internal physiological sensations is a process known as interoception. Several lines of research suggest that poor interoception may facilitate engagement in dangerous self-harm. In 2 studies, we investigated interoceptive abilities in individuals with differing degrees of suicidality. In Study 1, we compared interoception in controls (n = 27) and suicide ideators (n = 35), planners (n = 14), and attempters (n = 30). We found that those with suicidality had worse interoception than controls. Further, attempters reported worse interoception than planners or ideators. In Study 2, we compared interoception in psychiatric outpatients who had (n = 136) or had not (n = 459) attempted suicide. Again, we found that attempters reported worse interoception than nonattempters. In addition, we found that recent attempts were more strongly associated with interoceptive deficits than distant attempts. Together, our findings suggest that interoception is impaired in individuals with suicidality. Furthermore, the extent to which interoception is disturbed may differentiate not only between those who desire suicide from those who attempt suicide, but also between recent and distant suicide attempters. Impaired interoception may be important for engaging in serious self-injury; thus, reestablishing one’s connection to the body may aid in the prevention of suicidal behavior.

(Homo) sexualities, Organizations, and Administration: Possibilities for In (queer)y
Pengarang: Colleen A. Capper, Gary L. Anderson, Kathryn Herr, Roschelle, Jeremy, Pea, Roy
Abstrak: The purpose of this paper is to consider the possibilities for research with lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender school administrators and for the broader study of queerness in schools as organizations. Scholars need to consider both modernist and postmodernist practicalities related to (a) significance, (b) research focus, (c) methods, and (d) theoretical perspectives. I also explore how sexualities shape and are shaped by organizational life. Researchers should explore the (hetero)sexual culture and structure of schools, and the (homo)sexual ruptures and resistances to heterosexuality.
(Il)legitimating Filipino teachers` English on webpages for Japanese learners of English
Pengarang: -
Abstrak: Recent studies indicate that many foreign students now choose to go to the Philippines for university and language education. In this paper, we examine how Filipino Teachers` English (FTE) is represented on English language schools` webpages to market the Philippines as an alternative destination for acquiring ``good`` English among Japanese nationals. By examining a combination of online texts, photos, and videos through the lens of multimodal discourse analysis, we found that FTE is often presented as affordable and native-like or somewhat akin to American English. While on the surface the shift of focus to the Philippines as a place for English education may appear to dismantle Japanese learners` strong preference for native speakers of English, the schools reinforce the hierarchization of English by invoking American English and or native-speakerist ideals. In short, FTE is promoted as a desirable option because it can pass as native-like and is affordable. Unlike the less prestigious varieties of English spoken by the majority of Filipinos, which are implicitly stigmatized as impure and therefore inferior and undesirable, FTE is constructed as high quality at low cost. Through this representation, English language schools in the Philippines participate in the complex process of legitimating and illegitimating Philippine English, while at the same time reinforcing the hierarchization of English and the ideology of native speakerness.
(In) visible Men: Emerging Research on Low-Income, Unmarried, and Minority Fathers
Pengarang: Rebekah Levine Coley, Ludy T. Benjamin, JR., Michael F. Hoyt, Leonard S. Newman, Erdelyi, Matthew Hugh , Matthew D. Lieberman, Kevin N. Ochsner, Phebe Cramer, Peter Gilford, Philip Cushman
Abstrak: The author aims to help make low-income, unmarried, and minority fathers more visible by the emerging literature base on this population and addressing important conceptual, methodological, and policy issues. Recent evidence is reviewed concerning patterns of fatherhood, factors that support or prohibit fathers active involvement on children, and the impact of paternal involvement on children`s development. To move the field forward, advances are needed in methodology (increased use of father reports, multiple methods, and longitudinal studies), measurement (greater diversity and depth, multiple reporters), and theoretical and conceptual definitions (family systems perspectives, new and inclusive definitions of fatherhood) In particular, a multidisciplinary and contextualized perspective is an imperative aid impact of low-income, unmarried, and minority fathers.

(Meta) Kernelization
Pengarang: Lanur, Alex
Abstrak: In a parameterized problem, every instance I comes with a positive integer k. The problem is said to admit a polynomial kernel if, in polynomial time, one can reduce the size of the instance I to a polynomial in k while preserving the answer. In this work, we give two meta-theorems on kernelization. The first theorem says that all problems expressible in counting monadic second-order logic and satisfying a coverability property admit a polynomial kernel on graphs of bounded genus. Our second result is that all problems that have finite integer index and satisfy a weaker coverability property admit a linear kernel on graphs of bounded genus. These theorems unify and extend all previously known kernelization results for planar graph problems.
